It’s an old marketing adage that people don’t buy your product or service, they buy the BENEFITS of whatever you’re selling.
Sounds cool, right?
…but what does that actually mean?
Well, here’s another way of looking at it…
Let me be brutally honest.
It is ridiculously difficult to build your business if nobody knows who you are – especially online.
It is really hard to get prospects to return your calls…
…or get people to opt in and become a lead if they don’t perceive you as any kind of authority.
So what’s a new Internet marketer to do?
Well, whatever slice of the world you’re operating within…
If you’re in network marketing, talking to prospects is critical to your success.
No matter what anyone says, if you’re not able to effectively talk with your prospects and potential customers, you’re going to have a hard time building your business.
Now, don’t get it twisted, I’m not talking about prospects who are complete strangers.
I’m NOT talking about going to the mall and talking to everyone within three feet…
When most people think about personal branding…
Things like a sharp logo, fancy title, catchy tagline, and professional photography all come to mind.
These are the LAST things you need.
Which isn’t to say branding isn’t important, because it absolutely is.
After all, how else are you going to stand out from your competitors in today’s crowded marketplace?
As a blogger or a content marketer, you always want to get more traffic to your blog posts.
Obviously, more traffic means more opportunities for your reader to…
– Opt-in to become a lead
– Become aware of your offer(s)
– Be exposed to your brand
But let me ask you this…
